Hi, welcome to my corner of the internet.

If something called you here—for whatever reason—stay a while and get to know me.

My journey to becoming a coach started long before I knew what coaching was.

I was born in Calgary, Alberta, in 1993 to an immigrant family. Looking back, this was one of my first great life challenges—and perhaps one of the most meaningful.

I grew up between worlds.

My parents came from one culture, with its own expectations, traditions, and ideas of who I was supposed to be. I was born into another. From an early age, I learned what it felt like to exist between the person I naturally was and the person I believed I needed to become in order to belong.

There was another layer to my story: my parents converted to a high-control religious group.

My childhood became extremely sheltered and restrictive. I wasn't free to dress how I wanted, listen to music, go to the movies, attend birthday parties, explore my identity, or experience many of the things that seemed completely normal for other kids.

I learned rules before I learned myself.

And underneath those rules were generations of pain that had never been healed.

As the eldest daughter, much of that pain landed on me.

I was naturally curious. I followed the rules, but I also questioned them—and questioning often came with consequences. Over the years, I experienced physical, emotional, mental, and financial abuse.

Slowly, I became disconnected from the things I now consider some of my greatest sources of wisdom:

My voice.
My intuition.
My sense of self.
My spirituality.

At 23, fresh out of university and beginning my career as a teacher, I went no-contact with my family for the first time. Having my own income finally gave me something I hadn't had before: the ability to leave.

But freedom came with grief.

My decision deeply affected my relationships with my siblings, who experienced my leaving as abandonment. They couldn't yet understand what I was experiencing as the eldest daughter and scapegoat of our family system.

Around that time, I entered my first relationship and experienced my first love.

We spent six years together.

Those years taught me about love, attachment, relationships—and eventually, repetition.

I began recognizing dynamics that felt painfully familiar. In ways I hadn't understood before, I was recreating patterns I had spent my life trying to escape.

When that relationship ended in betrayal, my life as I knew it collapsed.

At 31, I found myself moving back into the family system I had fought so hard to leave.

But I wasn't the same woman who had left.

By then, I had walked away from the religious system I was raised in and had begun rebuilding my relationship with spirituality on my own terms. I explored therapy, life coaching, meditation, tarot, yoga, intuitive work, and other practices that helped me hear myself again.

Before my breakup, my own dissatisfaction with my teaching career had led me to become a certified life coach.

After the breakup, I traveled to Colombia and completed my yoga teacher training. I returned home and began teaching yoga.

And still, life kept dismantling what wasn't meant for me.

I left teaching to explore coaching and other career paths. I was eventually fired from a toxic company. My relationship ended. I lost the life I thought I was building. And I found myself back inside the environment I had spent years trying to outgrow.

So I made another choice.

I gave teaching another chance—and an opportunity appeared at a Canadian school in Mexico.

I sold my car.

I packed my belongings into a few bags.

And at 32 years old, I boarded a plane to central Mexico and started over.

This chapter of my life became about something much bigger than moving countries.

It became about choosing myself.

I walked away from my family system again, this time accepting that other people might never understand the boundaries I needed to create.

I stopped dating and searching for external validation.

I started asking myself a different question:

What would my life look like if I stopped abandoning myself to keep other people comfortable?

I came to Mexico determined to break my pattern of people-pleasing and build an inner strength that wasn't dependent on my external circumstances.

That work continues today.

I continue working with my own ICF-credentialed coaches. I continue exploring my spirituality. I continue noticing my patterns, questioning old beliefs, strengthening my boundaries, and learning what it means to build a life rooted in fierce authenticity, integrity, intuition, and honesty with myself.

I don't believe healing means becoming a person who never struggles again.

I believe it means becoming someone who knows how to come home to themselves.

And that's why I coach.

I know what it's like to live according to expectations that aren't yours.

I know what it's like to question the beliefs you were raised with and wonder who you are without them.

I know the guilt that can come with setting boundaries with family.

I know what it's like to leave—and still grieve.

To love people you can no longer live your life around.

To lose relationships.

To start over.

To wonder whether trusting yourself makes you selfish, difficult, ungrateful, or "too much."

And I know what it feels like to slowly realize:

I am allowed to build a life that feels true to me.

That's why I create space for others to discover their own answers and make meaningful changes in their lives.

My coaching is for people who are ready to examine the stories they've inherited, work through shame, break patterns of people-pleasing and self-abandonment, reconnect with their intuition, strengthen their boundaries, and make choices rooted in who they actually are.

I won't tell you what your life should look like.

I want to help you become so connected to yourself that you can hear your own answer.

If you've read this far, thank you for being here.

Maybe some part of my story reminds you of your own.

Maybe you're standing at the edge of a decision other people don't understand.

Maybe you've spent so much of your life becoming who everyone else needed you to be that you're finally asking:

But what do I want?

That's a question worth exploring.

If my story resonates with you, I'd love to meet you.

Book a clarity call with me and let's talk about where you are, what you're navigating, and the life you're ready to create.

See you soon. ♡
